Virassamy
Virassamy is a French artist from Bordeaux, France.
After graduating from the Beaux-Arts College of art in 2000, he founded the Shlag collective. 5 years later he moved to Brussels, where he lived for 3 years, his art being regularly published in the Belgian Word Magazine. Finally, Virassamy made the move to Berlin in 2009. With his 8 years of experience as a visual designer, his works include books, magazines, newspapers, clothes, drawings, paintings and illustrations.
His drawing is mostly handmade, combining classic methods with more instinctive techniques, sometimes mixing words and images with certain pertinence. Now living in Berlin, his illustration art is published in several special-interest magazines and he also creates the iconography for many music artists.
